Desiccated coconut is produced from coconut old. Maturity of using coconut desiccated coconut production is about (11-12) months. Coconuts are peeled, split shells and silk shell before putting on the production line at the factory. Copra after preliminary treatment is washed in water and blanched in hot water for 5 minutes. Then, steamed coconut rice is milled and steam before being dried by fluidized bed dryer system dedicated. Desiccated coconut is 02 kinds of low-fat (40% oil content max) and high fat (oil content 63% minimum).

Desiccated coconut high fat have a maximum moisture content of 3%, while the low fat desiccated coconut with a maximum moisture content of up to 4.5%. Desiccated coconut low fat produced from the coconut juice has been squeezed to produce coconut milk.

Our company applies management system of food safety ISO 22000: 2005 and HACCP. Therefore, in the manufacturing process, all stages are strictly controlled. Copra finished products are fully test the physical and chemical indicators, microbiology, quality goods to provide the best for our customers.

Desiccated coconut is packed in a PE bag with 3 layers of paper outside. For requests from customers we will add PP outside. Each bag is closed copra 7 -10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg.

Desiccated coconut is widely used in the confectionery industry, processing industry, consumers. In Vietnam, desiccated coconut is commonly used in the confectionery industry.
