Coconut oil is exported to many countries in the month 5/2014
Coconut oil exports in May 5/2014 including 40 607 tonnes of crude palm oil, 21,617 tons of oil and 289 tonnes of oil and RBD cochin, total exports reached 86.332 million. The US is the leading importer of palm oil this month to 25,363 tonnes, 40.6%; followed by Europe 18 549 tonnes (29.7%), Malaysia 11,000 tonnes (17.6%), Japan 6119 tonnes (9.8%) and the remaining markets are reaching less than 1%.
However, Europe remains the import market leading crude coconut oil, imported 18,500 tons (specifically: the Netherlands is 13,500 tons, 5,000 tons Spain). Malaysian market is the second largest importer with 11,000 tons of crude palm oil and then US 10 145 tonnes. In addition, other countries also import crude palm oil including 513 tons of Taiwan, Hong Kong and China 429 tons 20 tons. For items copra meal and coconut rice: copra exports reached 58,133 tonnes in March 5/2014, exports reached US $ 13.304 million. China is the largest importer with 26,565 tonnes (45.7%); followed by South Korea 15,923 tons (27.4%), India 6,650 tons (11.4%), Singapore 3,300 tons (5.7%), Vietnam 2804 tonnes (4.8%), Taiwan 2308 tons (4%), Malaysia and Hong Kong and imported 584 tonnes (1%).
